Welcome to the GCDHA 2009 Stallion Service Sale

We have a very exciting line up of stallions this year, including some of the best stallions in the country.  Proceeds of this auction go to support the Youth fund, GGIFT (the Gifted Geldings program), and the advertising and events budget.

It is with deep appreciation that we thank all the stallion owners who so generously donated their stallion's service.  And best wishes to all the mare owners who purchase these services.

The GCDHA Stallion Service Sale begins January 15, 2009 at 12:00pm Eastern time. No bids will be accepted before this time. These stallions are being offered at 50% of their normal fee, plus collection and shipping fees.

Bidding Procedure:

1) This is a half price stallion service sale with the sale price as marked. Mare owners are responsible for all collection/shipping fees and they must be paid directly to the stallion owner before the first shipment of semen.

2) The stallion services are sold on a first come, first served basis so please get your bid in early.

3) Contact Julie Heise: julieheise@netwurx.net  with your intent to bid, including the name of the stallion you are bidding on.

4) Contact the owner of the stallion that you are interested in, submit photos of your mare so the stallion owner may approve her and ask any questions that you might have about the stallion.  We provide information on services available (ie. live cover, AI, frozen, etc), but, if there is any other information you require, make sure you ask the stallion owner. All mares must be approved by the stallion owner before the bid is accepted.

5) Once the mare is approved, forward the approval to Julie Heise.  At this time, the sale will be considered pending.

6) Send payment to the GCDHA office at:

GCDHA

1812  10th St.

Danville, IN 46122

7) Once payment is received, the stallion will be marked as sold and the stallion owner will be contacted by the GCDHA informing them of the sale and the winning mare owner.

8) At that point, the mare owner and the stallion owner will enter into the stallion owner's standard breeding contract, and all future contact will be between those two parties. All Collection and shipping fees will be paid directly to the stallion owner.

9) Live foal guarantee, unless otherwise noted.

10) All sales final, no refunds will be granted.
