Welcome to the GCDHA 2010 Stallion Service Sale The 2010 sale is now under way! It is with deep appreciation that we thank all the stallion owners who so generously donated their stallion's service. And best wishes to all the mare owners who purchase these services. Bidding Procedure: 1) This is a stallion service sale with the sale price as marked. Collection and shipping fees listed are approximation and may run somewhat more, or less, depending on variables. Counter to counter shipments may run substantially more than standard over night delivery. Mare owners are responsible for all collection/shipping fees and they must be paid directly to the stallion owner (or the attending vet) before the first shipment of semen. 2) The stallion services are sold on a first come, first served basis so please get your bid in early. 3) Contact Julie Heise: julieheise@netwurx.net with your intent to bid, including the name of the stallion you are bidding on. 4) Contact the owner of the stallion that you are interested in, submit photos of your mare so the stallion owner may approve her and ask any questions that you might have about the stallion or the breeding procedure. We provide information on services available (ie. live cover, AI, frozen, etc), but, if there is any other information you require, make sure you ask the stallion owner. All mares must be approved by the stallion owner before the bid is accepted. 5) Once the mare is approved, forward the approval to Julie Heise: julieheise@netwurx.net At this time, the sale will be considered pending. 6) Send payment to the GCDHA office at: GCDHA 1812 10th St. Danville, IN 46122
7) Once payment is received, the stallion will be marked as sold and the stallion owner will be contacted by the GCDHA informing them of the sale and the winning mare owner. 8) At that point, the mare owner and the stallion owner will enter into the stallion owner's standard breeding contract, and all future contact will be between those two parties. All Collection and shipping fees will be paid directly to the stallion owner or their attending vet. 9) Live foal guarantee, unless otherwise noted. 10) All sales final, no refunds will be granted.
